This Privacy Policy explains how JUSTHINK IT, LLC ("JUSTHINK IT," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with Type Astra (the "Site"), available at typeastra.com.
1. Information We Collect
We have no accounts, forms, or backend database. Type Astra runs entirely in your browser. The only data associated with your play is stored locally on your own device using browser local storage, including:
- Game stats and history (score, words per minute, accuracy, sector reached)
- Your chosen ship color and sound/motion settings
This information never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. Clearing your browser's site data removes it permanently. We cannot see, back up, or restore it.
2. Server and Hosting Logs
Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical information for security and reliability purposes, such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We do not use these logs to identify individuals and do not combine them with any other data source.
3. Advertising and Cookies
The Site displays ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. We do not control these technologies and do not receive the underlying data they collect.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may affect how ads are served but will not prevent you from playing the game.
4. Children's Privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone. Because there are no accounts or forms, we have no mechanism to collect personal information from users of any age. Parents who believe their child has provided us information they wish removed may contact us, though as noted above we do not hold any such data.
5. Your Rights and Choices
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell personal information for money. To the extent ad personalization is considered "sharing" under California law, you can opt out through the Google and industry links in Section 3 above.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): Because we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, most data-subject requests (access, deletion, correction) have nothing to act on beyond your own browser storage, which you control directly. Requests about advertising data should be directed to Google using the links in Section 3.
Do Not Track: Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because we do not track users ourselves, there is nothing for this signal to change on our end; it does not affect third-party ad networks unless they choose to honor it.
6. Data Retention and Security
We do not retain any user data on our servers because none is collected there. Data in your browser's local storage persists until you clear it. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security for any data handled by third parties such as our hosting provider or advertising partners.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" above reflects the last revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
